How the day runs
Five steps, in order.
Measure and assess
We walk the surface, measure it, and flag oil spots, drainage and anything that needs patching before sealer goes near it.
Clean the surface
Blowers, wire brush on the edges, degreaser on oil spots, pressure washing if the surface needs it. Sealer bonds to clean asphalt or it does not bond at all.
Repair
Crack filler into the cracks, cold patch in the potholes. Skipping this is why a cheap sealcoat fails in one winter.
Seal
Edges done smoothly by brush and lined up straight, then the body coated. Depending on the driveway, either one or two coats are applied.
Cure
Stay off it on foot for 24 hours and in a vehicle for 48. We cone and tape it before we leave.
